Background & History EQUAL PARK Bar & Resto is a casual, fine dining restaurant located at “Transit Points” in Historic Center of Jakarta. The restaurant is owned by Dandy L. Parenta. EQUAL PARK grew up in Jakarta and Located in front of Istana Ratu Hotel . Prior to returning to Jakarta, he was Business man at Merchandise Band small Shop in Jakarta City. Dandy grew up in Makassar and is a graduate of London University. He has a background in business and finance. The building itself dates back to the 2008’s and was originally Transit’s Service Station. EQUAL PARK and Dandy teamed with landlord Puang Ali to transform the abandoned space into a cozy neighborhood gathering place. Brick walls are simply adorned with simple pots, Natural plates and antique mirrors. A playful use of color creates a vibrant yet warm, comfortable atmosphere. The restaurant features a brick patio for year-round outdoor dining, flower filled gardens, a marble bar, mezzanine level dining and an Transparent kitchen. There is a decidedly different feel to EQUAL PARK Bar & Resto. It is unique to Jakarta, bringing to mind other favorite neighborhood restaurants in cities like Bali. EQUAL PARK Bar & Resto offers rustic Balinese cuisine with an emphasis on the regions of Provence and Tuscany. The menu changes Periodically but the foundation remains constant with three appetizer choices, five entrees, and four desserts. With a fixing menu and affordable entrees, there are many guests that frequent the restaurant every week. The freshness, simplicity and seasonality of the food have won over diners across Jaksa Street and the Center.
